Shilan Anderson is a singer, songwriter and musician from Germany. Her music is inspired by nature, celtic myths, nordic legends and fairytales form all over the world. The melodies invite you to come along and leave reality behind for a while. Follow the songs into an enchanted land of forgotten tales – tales of spirits and fairy folk.
This journey will be accompanied by different musical instruments, some old and some new: the hang (or hang-drum), the harp, the hammered dulcimer, the monochord, the Irish bouzouki as well as various whistles and percussion instruments.
The melodies are completed by Shilan’s voice ranging from spherical background singing to lyrics in English, German and Swedish.
